getting the link working for videos
How can we get further instructions on how to link the uploaded videos to this blog? I will try using blip.tv but we were unable on Saturday to see the final linking process on blogger because the system was shut down. For now I have uploaded a test video to Archive.org but when the video is clicked on it goes to my ourmedia page without loading the video.

I have found using ccPublisher to be the easiest way to post; it available at http://wiki.creativecommons.org/CcPublisher as well as the address that Richard gave us in class. Once you download it and install it, you just follow the directions and it will publish to Internet Archive also. Then what I do is upload my QT screenshot picture to Blogger and find its adress on Blogger's server (it's the second adress located in all their code) and paste that as well as the address of my Internet Archive video into the code used by Richard for his last post (having taken his info out). This seems easier to me than using blip.tv (and having my videos in two places--which doesn't exactly thrill me) or messing with SpinXpress and OurMedia.org--which I couldn't even access yesterday.

Thanks, I'll give both of these a shot but I am thinking there are so many steps here it makes me want to go back to making webpages (:
